this game has so much potential, can’t wait to see how it progresses in the future, i personally hope we’ll see some enemies and tower defense like combat, that would really lift it out of the tedious sandbox mode and add a ton of replayability. Devs are very responsive and have some interesting stuff planned too. If you like building stuff, managing resources, constantly tinkering to get the most efficient set up and then scratching your head wondering where you went wrong then you’ll enjoy this. Gradually improving residential buildings often begin to overlap and it is necessary to demolish them, which is why holes are created in the construction. As well as the lack of a grid for construction, which complicates development. The biggest problem for me are the roads, which are very prone to interruptions and cannot be connected arbitrarily. I enjoyed it, but now I would have to redesign the entire infrastructure and with it the city, and I don’t want to do that anymore. After almost 8 hours of playing, I have 3,500 inhabitants. It’s a fun game once you get some of the basics down – would like to know what some of the icons mean on the buildings – but it’s pretty straight forward. If you have played games like Satisfactory, you know there are many points where it can feel very overwhelming, like when you unlock a new tier and you just don’t know what to do next. It really is a perfect blend of factory management and traffic/city sim. Extremely easyĮxtremely easy to get lost in this game. You have to make sure the trucks have a good path to each place because everything. There’s a lot of potential! The main challenge is organizing logistics. I’m very pleased by that and am excited to sink more many hours into this game. And that’s one of 11 different building tabs. There’s 7 types of ores to mine, for example. Seems like there is already a ton of content which was my biggest concern before buying. But it is so much closer to Cities Skylines, and that makes me really excited. It’s a lot of what I wanted out of some other recent games like Dyson Sphere Program and Per Aspera. Love the idea of a PRODUCTION based city game (instead of taxes) and so far it’s great. You can adjust the difficulties of both to make your city management experience as easy – or as hard – as you want it to be. You don’t have to play hard Traffic management can be fickle and survival can be tough. Any city of sufficient size will sooner or later be home to more and more families as well, so make sure your schools can handle it and you are able to deliver the latest VR-edutainment products as well. As your settlement grows, you need to cover the increasing workload by employing scientists and engineers, which require a few more creature comforts. Give them food and shelter and they’ll keep your outpost running no matter what. Your first colonists will be astronauts, the best and the bravest humanity has to offer. If you are in to city building games, this game is for you. For this one, you can go as creative as you like. One of the coolest things in this game is, you can go BIG! there’s lots and lots of building space. Just wanted to write one to support this awesome, addictive game. Build highways, roundabouts, and multi lane roads to ensure the production heart of the city keeps beating. Your road network can handle a lot, but without your oversight it will grind to a halt and drown in traffic eventually. Each resource you ever produce needs to be transported to a factory for processing and each product needs to go to a habitat for consumption. I feel like there should be some kind of feedback if the building can't actually put cars on the road.Transport Infrastructure InfraSpace simulates every. Have I somehow poisoned the roads? Are they elevated? they seem flat on the ground, but it is wavy ground. But for some reason it seems like none of the intersections work, and no matter how I rebuild them trucks will not travel through an intersection and will only deliver goods on the same street.Īfter rebuilding the roads and the mines, they no longer deliver even if on the same street. It took some effort to make everything snap to 90 degrees, sometimes it just doesn't seem to do it for some reason, so I'd go off another direction and line things up and connect them. After making a very congested 1000 pop city, I decided to start again and try to make things more orderly and grid-like.

If you've ever been made to feel different and weird, or been scared because you didn't know what you were doing or why people were looking at you like that, then you can relate to what's going on with Moon Shadow. OK, so that's kind of what it's like to be Moon Shadow Lee in Dragonwings, only "another part of the state" is a part of the world you've never even seen pictures of and you have never met anyone who lives there, not even your own father. And there's no internet or phones to contact any of your old friends. And all the while, the teachers are encouraging students to throw bigger things at you, and you can't even tell them to stop because you don't speak Latin. Think that's a bummer? There's more: you have to work two jobs on top of going to school. Then everyone comes at you with unintelligible and annoying limericks in Latin and throws garbage at you. Then you step on campus, and everyone has hair down to their butts and has resurrected Latin for conversation. On the first day of class, you show up rockin' your Mohawk and equipped with all the latest slang from your old school. You're kind of freaked out about going to a new school, but you're keeping your cool. Picture this: you find out that you're forced to move because your parent just got laid off and found a job in a new part of the state. What is Dragonwings About and Why Should I Care? When two of the ladies perform a risqué routine in order to entertain the others, the superintendent (Barbara Steele) decides to come down hard on her charges. While serving time, she meets a variety of convicts, among them the ultra tough Maggie (Juanita Brown), the equally feisty Belle (Roberta Collins), and the more low key Lavelle (Cheryl "Rainbeaux" Smith). It stars Erica Gavin as Jacqueline Wilson, a young woman nabbed by the police during a drug bust. Jonathan Demme's feature length first unit directorial debut was this women in prison favourite, done for his boss in the 1970s, Roger Corman. We will never see their likes again! Enjoy! 'Caged Heat' is first class trash, and a perfect example of 1960s/70s exploitation movies exemplified by the energetic and fun output of American International and New World Pictures. The cast is an impressive one, not just Brown, Collins, Smith and Reid, but Russ Meyer bitch goddess Erica Gavin ('Vixen!') and horror legend Barbara Steele ('Black Sunday', 'Pit And The Pendulum', 'Night Of The Doomed', 'Shivers',etc.). He has made more accomplished and successful movies since this, but arguably none more entertaining. movie and a playful, tongue in cheek parody of one simultaneously. Demme manages to make a tough and tense W.I.P. This is Jonathan Demme's directorial debut after serving his apprenticeship with Roger Corman as a writer and producer, and he really came up trumps. Funnily enough, three of the major cast members (Juanita Brown, Roberta Collins and Rainbeaux Smith) had co-starred in various Grier vehicles ('Foxy Brown', 'The Big Doll House', and 'Drum' respectively). If she had played the character of Pandora instead of Ella Reid, 'Chained Heat' would be IT. I think the only thing stopping it from being number one is the absence of Pam Grier. (The best for me is still 'Chained Heat' starring Linda Blair and Tamara Dobson, made a few years after this genre is generally regarded as being at its peak). 'Caged Heat'! I get a big grin on my face just typing the title! Look, you either dig Women In Prison movies or you don't, and if you do 'Caged Heat' is the second best one ever made, in a tie with Jack Hill's 'The Bird Bird Cage'. The POE filter simply stops your MoCA network frequencies from flowing back outside your home where your neighbor or anyone else could share the use of your network. You can do this inside your house between the cable and first splitter, it just screws in, in line with the cable. The POE is installed where your cable enters the house. You'll want to buy a POE filter, Point Of Entry filter. The internet, cable TV, and MoCA all use different frequencies while sharing the same cable/wire. Within a 100 mile radius of me Spectrum has 3-4 different hardware systems for cable. Spectrum really has nothing to do with it. Do not want to use a powerline network adapter as they didn’t work for crap in a buddy’s house. I’ve read in a couple different places that it’s possible with a filter at the POE but I don’t understand what any of this means? I’d like to utilize the coax already in the wall via MoCA adaptors but I’m reading spectrum disables that ability in the modem. Moving the modem/router is also not an option as it’s currently in a specific place upstairs so that other things can be hardwired as well. I would prefer my AV reciever and Apple TV be hard wired to the internet instead of WiFi as the router and modem are rather far away. However, I do have a coax line there for my cable box. Turns out I forgot to run an Ethernet cable to my media cabinet and I’m kind of at the point of no return on that oversight. Recently built a home theater in part of my unfinished basement. Some have compared to separating hook-and-loop fasteners (e.g., velcro). The difference between the course and fine crackles is believed to come from the size of the airway snapping open (larger airways, deeper pitched, courser crackles). Therefore, they are predominantly inspiratory. The next thing to note is the pitch: wheezes and fine crackles are high pitched, whereas rhonchi and coarse crackles are low pitched.Ĭrackles are generated by small airways snapping open on inspiration. Crackles could be counted by the examiner as discrete acoustic events. For example, rhonchi and wheezes are continuous sounds whereas crackles are not. The first trait that assists in the classification of adventitious sounds is whether the sounds are continuous or intermittent. For instance, crackles and rales refer to the same finding many terms are used interchangeably and vary by the clinician and geographic location of the practice. These terms are generally redundant with, or sub-categories of, the ones noted below. There are many other terms that are used to describe adventitious sounds, which are too numerous to cover. Stridor and rubs will also be discussed here. The most commonly heard adventitious sounds include crackles, rhonchi, and wheezes. The intensity and duration of breath sounds is also clinically significant and will be covered in detail below.Īdventitious sounds refer to sounds that are heard in addition to the expected breath sounds mentioned above. Note that the terms high and low pitch are defined by the American Thoracic Society Committee as 400hz or greater and 200hz or less, respectively, although the actual frequencies of these sounds may violate that official rule. They are commonly heard over the upper third of the anterior chest. If heard in other areas of the lung, bronchial sounds are abnormal. In contrast, vesicular breath sounds are soft, low pitched, predominantly inspiratory, and appreciated especially well at the posterior lung bases. Bronchovesicular sounds can be heard during inspiration and expiration and have a mid-range pitch and intensity. They are predominantly heard during expiration. Loud, harsh, and high pitched bronchial sounds are typically heard over the trachea or at the right apex. Bronchial sounds (also called tubular sounds) normally arise from the tracheobronchial tree and vesicular sounds normally arise from the finer lung parenchyma. Normal breath sounds are classified as bronchial, vesicular, or bronchovesicular, which have different acoustic properties based on anatomical characteristics of the location where you are auscultating. The lungs produce three categories of sounds that clinicians appreciate during auscultation : breath sounds, adventitious sounds, and vocal resonance.įor the purpose of this article, we refer to breath sounds as the normal lung sounds heard through the chest wall with the use of a stethoscope, rather than audible breathing through the mouth. In this article, we will focus on auscultation of lung sounds, which are useful in predicting chest pathology when considered alongside the clinical context.
